Marilla’s new album ‘The Way Of The Cross’ was recorded to enable an insight as to Jesus’ suffering during his last day. Although it is not possible for everyone to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, it is possible to meditate on the passion and death of Jesus at a local church or even at home. Through meditating on the Station of the Cross, pilgrims developed a greater appreciation of the saving work of Jesus and one of the great mystics tells us that, after the Holy Mass and the Rosary, it is the devotion that is most pleasing to Our Lord. It is Marilla’s hope and prayer that her recording of the ‘Way of the Cross’ will help increase our faith and deepen our hope in the Resurrection.
